Group is an integral part of the Suzuki method and is required for all of my students age 10 and under. (Older students need to be in an orchestra or chamber group.) Students form community, watch each other learn, review concepts from the individual lesson, play games, learn to perform, learn ensemble skills, and so much more.
Currently, I teach group class once a month on Mondays, divided into two groups by age/playing level.
